Do you love chickens, do you live in the Lincolnshire area, can you help volunteer with Lincolnshire hen re-homing?
The wonderful BHWT Lincs team based at Castle Bytham are looking for some extra team drivers to help their continuing work re-homing ex commercial hens.
How can you help?
1. Do you have experience trailering and would you be happy towing a stock trailer?
2. Do you have a stock trailer or horse box trailer that you would be willing to use to
collect crates of hens from our farm and drop them back to our re-homing centres.
3. Do you have a ventilated van – Transit size or small horse box lorry?
They re-home approximately every 8 weeks and are looking for a pool of drivers and trailer owners that they can call on occasionally to help.
They re-home from Castle Bytham – NG33 4RJ. Farm collections would hopefully be no further than 1-2 hours drive and expenses would be paid.
